It's about time some of my colleagues are standing up to the US Congress.

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Perhaps you shouldn't generalize. Not ALL surgeons feel this way. My husband is seeing one of the top neurosurgeons in the Phoenix area, and this surgeon is FOR health care reform. We just met with him last week. You also left out a major point in your title....that they are CONCERNED about certain aspects of the bill. Your title is misleading.

Wow, a bunch of doctors oppose making less money and being subject to a quality measurement system? Whoda thunk.

We need to stand up against both the corporate insurance thugs, and against specialists, who think that class hierarchy, should work for them over all others.....NOT!!!

No a republican' 'I got mine' repub wants American to pay for their elite point... wonder why he is not practicing but a few days...could it be that there is something brewing in his CV...or his past practice...Physicians are not known for going against the people they are sworn to serve!

    Interesting but not new!

Interesting that the repubs spend more time and effort to get up a chart to refute-- than a plan to solve the HC problem..Are the people important to the repubs...not so much!
